Crunch Time!

It is that time of the year again. In the cooking world I always called it the thrill of the kill. When everything has to get done and it has to get done in a somewhat orderly manner. Something about crunch time makes me kick it into overdrive and I love that feeling. Over the weekend I had to finish shooting and edit my film for DSLR filmmaking. Final copy for showing must be submitted by today for showing at the theater on Wednesday. I managed to get this done to where I was happy with it. I do understand that I could work on it until the cows come home but at some point it needs to be ready to go. I also managed to squeeze 1 quick video assignment in on top of a major project for my mom. She is a school teacher and makes a video every year that covers the year in pictures. I managed to shift thru 470 pictures and put them to a musical slideshow as well. I feel very accomplished in the fact that I could even do all of that in a weekend. This time last year I would have never fathomed being able to accomplish what I have.
